State Park Rangers responded and assisted at the scene as well, specially thank you to the Susquehanna County Communications Center for a huge amount of assistance in locating the 1st victim and managing several calls during this time. This is the third time this week we have been in the park and a reminder to please watch your footing and be aware of the trail and area of the park you are in and on. All Emergency in the park are a huge example of how well your local Emergency agencies operate together and we are as always proud to operate alongside the Men and women of the Montrose Minute Men, Susquehanna County 911 and all of our mutual aid fire companies.
I am the victim you mention here! I can never thank you enough for your help and kindness during this distressing time. At the hospital I learned I had broken my ankle in 3 places. I could never have made it out of the park without all of your help. Bless you all- I will always be grateful!
