| Before members had a chance to back the truck into the station from the carbon monoxide alarm, we were dispatched for a working garage fire, with the garage attached to the house. The first arriving apparatus was on scene in minutes with a wind-driven fire; the garage was fully involved, and the house was heavily involved. The first photo was taken just after the 911 call was placed; the second photo was taken just after the first apparatus arrived. Crews operated on this fire for several hours with 22 United firefighters answering this middle-of-the-day call. Shortly after placing the trucks back in service, the ladder and engine were dispatched to assist Springville Fire with a house full of smoke. Crews searched the residence and found refuse burning in a trash can. Huge thank you to all of our mutual aid and standby companies throughout the day! |
